Lijn 294 rijdt van Bottrop Hauptbahnhof via Welheimer Mark naar Welheim.
Dienstregeling
- In de ochtendspits wordt tussen de haltes Hauptbahnhof en Klopriesstraße als vaste lijndienst gereden. Deze ritten rijden richting Bottrop Hauptbahnhof via Bottrop Hauptbahnhof Südeingang, maar niet via Gewerbegebiet Kruppwald. Daardoor rijden de belbusritten richting het Hauptbahnhof tot Gewerbegebiet Kruppwald om deze halte toch te bedienen.
- De gehele week na circa 21:00 uur en op zondag voor circa 10:00 uur wordt ook tussen de haltes ZOB Berliner Platz en Hauptbahnhof gereden als belbus. Op overige tijdstippen wordt dit traject bediend door lijn 291.

Geschiedenis
Op 14 juli 2018 vonden er grote wijzigingen in het busvervoer van de Stadt Bottrop en Kreis Recklinghausen plaats. Lijn 294 werd de gehele week verlengd van Am Kämpchen naar de Welheimer Straße en na 21:00 uur ging de lijn ook vanaf het Hauptbahnhof via Vonderort naar het ZOB rijden om zo de belbusritten van lijn 264 op dit traject over te nemen. Op overige tijdstippen werd dit traject voortaan bediend door lijn 291.
